Mom(Taxi driver and picker upper of dirty socks), Momcologist to sweet Max my own GBM warrior, Wife, and early oncology drug trialist. Thoughts are my own.
@UrFriendCarolyn@LillyOncMed I'm curious what data that you have that links high grade glioma to the lack of breast feeding. My understanding is from published research is that most driver mutations for high grade glioma happen in utero. Speaking as a mom that has lost her son to high grade glioma.

Max would be 15 today โ always and forever 12.
Not just a friend, but a son, a brother, and a bright soul who lived with kindness, strength, and heart.
His light still shines โ in memories, in laughter, and in the work of the max pound foundation.
Today, we carry on that tradition of generosity in Maxโs honor. And yes, if you knew Max, you know this was the go-to โcollared shirtโ! Join us this Giving Tuesday to make a difference for kids and families battling pediatric brain cancer. https://t.co/l89TR7V70N #UnleashHope

Exciting work is being done at the Brainstorm Summit: End Childhood Brain Cancer meeting in Washington, DC. Let's Navigate our way . . . together #DMG#DIPG#EndChildhoodBrainCancer
November starts the season of giving and also marks the month that we were thrown into the world of pediatric cancer three years ago. Consider taking a pause and consider contributing to a wonderful cause. Help us fund more research for kids like Max! https://t.co/3aIWEXZmJF
It is with the heaviest, saddest, and most heartbroken heart that I share that Max has passed away. He was perhaps the most perfect 12 yo, with the biggest smile, the best hug, and the most gracious being. God speed little man....
