Minister @DevinDVote and I got to tour and ride the VIA Rail train from Montreal down to Ottawa today.

While aboard we had the chance to meet with @VIA_Rail, Germany’s @Siemens, Canada’s Alto, and France’s @AlstomCanada, to discuss everything rail and learn about best practices for passenger and high-speed rail across Canada and the world.

@grahamctv @VIA_Rail Just one thing as my son & nephew are the engineers who went to rescue this stranded train (took 5 hours to drive from Cornwall to Kingston) Engineers don’t “refuse” to drive. Transport Canada mandates when they MUST stop. Rotten for all involved including this worried Momma.
