The Government's own reports are warning the UK faces major security risks if it fails to act on ecosystem collapse.

Yet they still won't publish the full report. Without it, MPs cannot effectively scrutinise how the Government is stepping up to address these fundamental threats.

Nuclear climate casualty
Two weeks after the last spell of intense heat, EDF must halt production at several reactors to avoid further warming the rivers. The utility company is planning new measures at Golfech (on the Garonne) and Chooz (on the Meuse) in response to climate change.

The respite for EDF’s nuclear power plants has been short-lived. Following the heatwave in late June that forced three reactors to shut down, the state-owned utility is once again halting two of them on Thursday evening due to high temperatures: Bugey 3, on the Rhône,, followed by Golfech 2, on the Garonne.'
