Hi @easyJet EZY325 EDI to BFS is delayed by a birdstrike on our plane… 3 hrs in, the plane is fixed but is being boarded with a Lanzarote flight. The birdstrike has not caused the bulk of this 7hr delay!! People are visibly upset. We are entitled to an explanation! V. bad form

@easyJet Yes we are well aware @easyJet we watched patiently as the airplane got fixed and then was boarded with another flight! We waited 3hrs - have 4 to go. The birdstrike - unforeseen. Boarding the flight with other passengers- foreseen #easyjetcomplaint

@easyJet @easyJet DM spiel is a diversion tactic - ridiculous reply “There has been an additional delay because of the plane needs to be inspected by our engineers following a bird strike. This can take between 30 minutes to two hours, and we'll keep you updated as soon as we know more”
