The underrated power of daily walking
Most of us aren’t walking nearly enough. Research shows the global average sits somewhere between about 4,500 and 4,900 steps a day, which means a large number of people are doing even less than that.
Walking is one of the simplest and most accessible forms of movement available. It requires no gym, no special equipment, and almost no preparation, yet it supports heart health, blood sugar control, mood, and overall longevity.
Because it feels so ordinary, it’s easy to overlook. But that everyday nature is exactly what makes it so effective when done consistently. Even modest increases in daily steps can add up over time.

🧬A cancer story that raises serious questions
An 83-year-old woman with metastatic breast cancer was reportedly sent home to hospice after her cancer had spread to multiple organs. Her family then began giving her fenbendazole, a veterinary antiparasitic that is not an approved human cancer treatment.
According to the story, her condition improved, her appetite returned, and her tumor markers reportedly fell dramatically over the following weeks.
Tumor markers dropped.
Her condition improved.
Later testing was reportedly normal.
That is an extraordinary story, but one case cannot prove that fenbendazole caused the cancer to disappear. We still need controlled human clinical trials to know whether it actually works, whether it is safe, and which cancers, if any, could benefit.
The story is worth investigating. The evidence still needs to catch up.

A controversial claim about mRNA vaccines
A medical biochemist argues that modifying and stabilizing mRNA could create serious biological risks, including concerns about abnormal proteins, DNA changes and cancer.
The claims sound alarming, but the evidence needs to be separated from the speculation.
mRNA vaccines are designed to provide temporary instructions for making an immune-targeted protein. WHO states that the vaccine mRNA has not been shown to incorporate into recipients’ genes and that it breaks down after vaccination.
The bigger point is that vaccine safety should be judged through clinical evidence and ongoing safety monitoring, not through a single interview or proposed mechanism. WHO’s current assessment says serious adverse events remain rare relative to the billions of doses administered globally.
The claims about “turbo cancers” and widespread DNA alteration require much stronger evidence before they can be presented as established facts.

@jakeglmn Walking is the cheapest longevity pill, and it makes all the sense in the world. The strength in our feet is something most people are unaware of.
@Aliasdavejay@delbigtree Cancer rates have been climbing for decades, mainly because of an aging population and improved screening. There remains no compelling evidence that the vaccines are linked to any increase in cases.
@maydreame878231@delbigtree Yeah, I’ve seen that claim a lot but turbo cancer isn’t an actual medical diagnosis. Cancer rates were already rising for years from aging populations and better detection, and the data still doesn’t show the vaccines causing it.

@syaoran2775@delbigtree That paper is about the actual virus infecting cells, not the vaccine. The mRNA in the shots doesn’t behave the same way and research still shows it doesn’t enter the nucleus or change our DNA.
Interesting lab finding on nattokinase
A recent lab study has shown that nattokinase, a natural enzyme from fermented soybeans, was able to dissolve about 84% of amyloid microclots within two hours in controlled test-tube conditions. Researchers noted this as some of the strongest experimental evidence so far that the enzyme can break down these stubborn structures.
What stands out is the dual action. The same enzyme has also been shown to degrade spike protein, which is considered one of the triggers that can lead to the formation of those amyloid clots in the first place. It appears to target both the cause and the result.
Nattokinase is generally regarded as very safe for most people and is known to reach the bloodstream when taken orally. These results are still limited to the laboratory, not the human body, so proper clinical trials are the clear next step to see whether the same effects occur in real life.

The occurrence of cancer is on an increasing trend for many years due to factors such as aging, detection, and lifestyle changes. Due to COVID, many patients have missed their screening appointments leading to late diagnosis of cancer. No studies have linked mRNA vaccine and cancer.
