According to @williamlegate,

A source within Trump’s immediate family tells @williamlegate he shared the Tuesday indictment date for two reasons:

1. To rile up the nation into mass protests

2. To undermine the legitimacy of the justice system by leaking what was supposed to be private info.

Trump did this intentionally to create mayhem.
