Social media strategist by day. Mom, trivia lover, mediocre peloton-er, dog mom, and bookworm by night. Thrives on coffee + a good challenge. Tweets = mine.
True in sizeism and beyond: “We [creatives] need to normalize ALL bodies in the work we create because we have the power to shift culture.” @HakunaMakeda at #3percentconf
Charming @budlight ad with a nice understated use of celebrity, versus the 'in your face' approach of so many other ads - taps into a situation we can all relate to. Great work, Alissa Gordon Heinerscheid @thelist#3percentSB#SuperBowl
Rihanna began her #SuperBowl halftime show hanging high above the field.
She wore a bright red jumpsuit as she stood on a transparent square in the air over the turf and belted out the lyrics to “Bitch Better Have My Money.”

100%. Can celebs enhance a spot? If done right, sure. Tonight’s celeb examples are all just lipstick on a pig. Hellmans and Pringles were the worst of the worst, IMHO.
This #SuperBowl feels like our industry is parodying itself. Celebrity after celebrity after celebrity - none of them used in a really creative, ingenious, innovative, surprising way that feels foundational to what the brand stands for, and SELLS #3percentSB
@BlockClubCHI Same reason I say my hometown is Cleveland It’s not. It’s a rural blip of nothing town 25 miles outside of Cleveland that no one’s heard of. Chesterland. See? You don’t know it like most people also don’t know Northbrook, IL.
I joined Twitter in Oct '08 for a college comms class. This platform has been a cornerstone of my career, from networking to landing me more than one job, to launching incredible client work. Wild and a bit sad to watch things go downhill like this.
@JessicaGalliart@dansinker Can relate - I joined in '08 for a college comms class. And 14 years later, social media strategy is my career. A big part of me would be sad to see Twitter go.
Even in a country battered from the constancy of mass violence — at grocery stores, elementary schools, street corners — the shooting at a parade in Highland Park, Illinois, proved shocking. Six people were killed, including a 76-year-old grandfather. https://t.co/QMysERTqsZ
Every once in awhile I remember the time I went to a workout class that was a (surprise!) dance class. Still haven't recovered from watching myself attempt body rolls in front of a full length mirror in the sober light of day.
3 years later and this tweet rings just as true. Removal from political/social issues is no longer realistic for brands (and no longer desirable for most consumers).
81% of millennials want companies to stand up for what they believe in. 9 in 10 millennials would switch, if their company doesn't do this. #ANADigital
