Neil Turner and his team have produced a painstaking portrayal of the airbase as it was in 1943.

The Heritage Art for Simulators Development Team from the UK have begun work on a highly-detailed rendition of the #caronairbase. Once completed, it will allow users to "fly" into Caron in an original training aircraft. The image is a first draft of the firehall at Caron.

During the demolition of Hangar No. 1 at No. 33 EFTS (RAF) in the summer of 2009, Rod Appleby, the fire chief at Caronport ,found this sign. Regrettably, not much was left after 67 years. #caronairbase
