@unibcarlson Macbeth was the only film I was able to watch since things sort of slowed down for me this last week (ironic it slowed down). I definitely think it would be an adaptation because you can follow the story line of the text easily.
@unibcarlson "The raven himself is hoarse
That croaks the fatal entrance of Duncan
Under my battlements. Come, you spirits
That tend on mortal thoughts, unsex me here,
And fill me from the crown to the toe top-full
Of direst cruelty. Make thick my blood," (I.v.)
@unibcarlson Malvolio: "Not black in my mind, though yellow in my legs. It
did come to his hands, and commands shall be
executed. I think we do know the sweet Roman
hand (III.iv 23-25).

@flaredestiny @unibcarlson This is a very key line. We see Andrew demonstrating his power here. This is part of the conversation he is having with Maria, which was the quote I picked.
@unibcarlson "Andrew: Wherefor, sweetheart? What's your metaphor?
Maria: IT's dry, sir."
A: Why, I think so. I am not such an ass but I can keep my hand dry. But what's your jest?"
M: A dry jest, sir.
A: Are you full of them?
M: Ay, sir, I have them at my fingers' ends. Marry, now I let go
@unibcarlson Did we offend you?
Keep it to yourself, and everything will be okay.
It is not that important, write it off as a dream.
Please forgive me so we can move on.
I am an honest man, but if I'm lying call me out.
Good night to all.
Clap and know all is right.
@unibcarlson "Come, gentle night, come, loving black-browed night/Give me my Romeo, and when I shall die,/Take him and cut him out in little stars" (III.ii.21-24).
@unibcarlson now art thou what thou art, by art as well as by nature, for this drivelling love is like a great natural that runs lolling up and down to hide his bauble in a hole. (II.IV.91-95)
@TaraGrecoCMU@unibcarlson Romeo is describing what love is like, but he doesn't paint the most beautiful picture. He describes it as a fire, a drowning ocean, a form of madness, and something sweet you could easily choke on. Romeo describes love as something that can be beautiful but also deadly.
