Lesson from therapy yesterday: surround yourself with people who value you and prioritize you, life’s too short to surround yourself with people who make you question your worth in their life 💗
@caitlinxjadee Do lots of hip mobility exercises!!! I think that’s why truly helped hais descend well and came out quick because my body knew how to move out of the way!
I haven’t tweeted in 3 years- but I felt it was important to let @GreysABC know how badly they fumbled Meredith fricken Grey’s last episode. No flashbacks? No emotions? Just cut & dry like that? 20 years watching every Thursday & I’ve never been more disappointed. #GreysAnatomy
Today in therapy we did some guided discussion and we dropped “little Carly” off at the beach so little me can be left in a safe protective space from all the trauma I endured and we’ll pick her back up next week, idky but that brings me such peace knowing little me is protected
No one prepared me for when my daughter would want to start doing everything I do, like getting ready in the morning she HAS to be apart of it she can’t just watch anymore. I pretend to do her skincare and we brush hair. You can see her jumping getting excited for the next step
I left Haislie with my mom for an hour to go to therapy and Haislie cried until I got back. She goes “you need to leave her with other people so she gets used to other people” LOL I said “people need to come visit her so I can leave her with them”
Imagine having a father who met his granddaughter at 4 days old and then not again until she was 6 months old for 2 minutes. Imagine having a mother who makes an effort to come visit her granddaughter every 6-8 weeks bc “I don’t come to her”
If hais has a bad night and Bens working nights he comes home and stays up with her while I get a couple hours of sleep, he works 12 hour night shifts and still says “your job is most definitely harder, this is the least I can do to help out” LADIES GET YOU A PARTNER LIKE THIS
@suuummeerrr I’m so sorry for what you went through, life is so unfair. Yes if they wanted to they would and it hurts to know people in our life too didn’t want to.
Im currently in therapy for birth trauma and we’ve been talking about how lonely and unsupported my husband and I felt afterwards and how we didn’t ask anyone to come visit or help if they weren’t asking us. And how I feel guilty that I could of reached out to people as well
