@JanePublic1776@SenRandPaul So you didn’t understand why the 21st amendment was necessary?
You don’t “amend” amendments. You amend the law. Which is what amendments do.
@SpecialPuppy1 Pragmatically it would bring the vote closer to the “will of the the people”.
I believe every state currently has the ability to do this if they so choose. They would need to decide for themselves, as I respect state sovereignty when it comes to elections.
@UziCryptoo There’s two kinds of debt: healthy and unhealthy.
The amount is irrelevant. The reason is the important factor.
If you’re making 9% on a 6% loan, then the more debt the better
@JustinS65097428@ZetPa0@OhItsRyan So you’re saying the executive branch is going to be used to interfere with the legislative branch’s advise and consent power?
What jurisdiction does the executive branch have over Supreme Court confirmations?
@ZetPa0@JustinS65097428@OhItsRyan You mean like when the Senate refused to vote on merrick garland’s nomination for Supreme Court justice?
Remind me when he got sworn in?
@AmericanaMama_ I’ve been in exactly 2 physical altercations in my life.
Both were preceded by me having to deal with incessant bullying.
The instant I finally defended myself, the bullying stopped.
I showed patience. I showed grace. At a certain point, you’re left with no other option.
