@AOC@DNC@POTUS Thank you for totally bailing on the TWO-THOUSAND dollar checks for the people who could really use it. @POTUS@ossoff@KamalaHarris@ReverendWarnock promises made #neverkept. Typical neolib establishment dems are really showing us who they are (not to mention repubs) @AOC (1/2)
Conservative Dems have fought so the Biden admin sends fewer & less generous relief checks than the Trump admin did.
It’s a move that makes little-to-no political or economic sense, and targets an element of relief that is most tangibly felt by everyday people. An own-goal.
@Eedwardsellis @ass_dentata @VP Gotta love all the establishment dems once again lying and not keeping promises. They'd rather have a convenient excuse to say "we tried 🥺". Absolute bs. I expect this administration to be held accountable just as any other one.
@colleensflower @Digit_007@HidalgoAnn@JoeBiden "The parliamentarian’s advice is non-binding. The presiding officer of the Senate is the ultimate decision maker and can ignore the parliamentarian"
Seeing the Confederate flag being carried into the Capitol as a battle emblem for insurrectionists is especially chilling and makes the historical analogies all the more clear.
@AndyTillinghast@ReverendWarnock DT signed 220 EOs. Biden has only signed 29. It just seems like a lot because he's only been in office for a little over 2 weeks. https://t.co/GyKWkcjg8K
@truthfighter1@ossoff@HSGAC@neeratanden Luckily the Senate is pushing a bill for the legalization of Marijuana on the Federal level which would "provide so-called restorative justice for people who have been convicted of pot-related crime"
The House passed a $2,000 direct payment for working people. Now it's the Senate's turn. If McConnell doesn't agree to an up or down vote to provide the working people of our country a $2,000 direct payment, Congress will not be going home for New Year's Eve. Let's do our job.
84% of Democrats want the Senate to pass a $2,000 direct payment
73% of Republicans want the Senate to pass a $2,000 direct payment
74% of Independents want the Senate to pass a $2,000 direct payment
The House approved a $2,000 direct payment
Let the Senate vote, Mitch!
