I am so proud of our team. Thank you to all the crews, reporters, producers and control room people, dedicated to fairly documenting this very difficult day for our fine city and country. We are still on the air 🇨🇦
After 2 gruelling years of this pandemic & all the lessons we've learned, hearing Ontario's Premier spew COVID misinformation yesterday is such a slap in the face of every health worker who has sacrificed so much to keep the people of this province safe. Ontarians deserve better!
A local resident walks past the convoy with a sign in counter protest.
I suspect many people are close to or past their breaking point. This is a tinderbox situation, and not the fun kind of Tinder.

Today has not been easy. Protesters were mostly peaceful Saturday. Today has been different. Setting up for a live hit with @CP24 we were yelled at and swarmed by a group of protesters within seconds. We can’t get close without this happening. @ctvottawa@CTVNews
Disgusted by some of my former Conservative colleagues in the House of Commons standing by folks w swastikas, confederate flags, disrespecting our National War Memorial & the statue of a national hero. The point you are making is not the one you think it is. Voters will remember.
Yesterday we hit another important milestone in our campaign for #CommunityImmunity.
60% of Ottawa residents aged 18 or older have received their first dose of vaccine.
This puts us in a good position for Step 1 of the Provincial Reopening Plan set to start in mid-June.
@julobbb Girl I feel this... we got told today NO ONE IN CHEO can book vacation or time off in the next 6 weeks... It's all hands on deck from everyone and it's scary 🥲
Guys. I can no longer book vacation/time off for the next 6 weeks on the unit I work on at CHEO because of the increasing pressure and capacity on inpatient units at CHEO in order to have all hands on deck. The third wave of COVID in Ottawa is serious. Please be safe & stay home.
