I have posted this before but ..
26 years ago, a gunman entered
Dunblane Primary School in Scotland,
killing 16 kids and a teacher. The UK
govt responded by enacting tight gun
control legislation. In the 9400+ days
since, there have been a total of O
school shootings in the UK.
"It’s about saying this community is valuable and important and we want to honour them."
Brian Burke joined Ron MacLean to discuss Pride Nights across the NHL and supporting the LGBTQ+ community.
"These people have their own personal beliefs, I just don't agree with them."
#Oilers Zach Hyman says he would absolutely wear a pride jersey, saying he disagrees with players who won't.
He adds it doesn't go against his beliefs, and its important to be welcoming to all. #yeg
This is coming from the same organization that tried to cover up sexual abuse against a former player. What a pack of spineless losers. It's a jersey to show that you support love and acceptance of all. I know, such a wildly, radically, woke idea... Sad organization.
Goose, the Connecticut rockers that we called "the most talked about jam band in the country right now," gave the nation a taste of their new album Dripfield on 'CBS Mornings’ Saturday Sessions https://t.co/XtqxJU11Ax
So...Ontario just announced that mask mandates for hospitals will be dropped this Saturday June 11th.
Really? After all we have learned? Our government is actually going to drop the most basic thing we can do to keep vulnerable patients & health workers safe in hospitals? 🙄
Who expects a PM to fly commercial? Who wants seats normally sold to us, becoming unavailable, for security reasons? If there is 1 reason why I feel so much happier, it's no more pressure to puke populism. https://t.co/SDlMgeC8R4
Some protestors have ramped up their anger at journalists. @glen_mcgregor and I were both doing reports at a camera and protestors surrounded us, yelled fake news, lies, Nazi, disrupted Glen’s live hit, one guy spat at us and then followed us as we left. Getting worse #cdnpoli
@nytimes Hey New York Times. If you don’t want to send reporters to the scene then all you have to do is watch Canadian TV. Try a bit harder to get the story right.
Here's the thing: The PM has consistently condemned the blockades, strongly and repeatedly since late Jan.
The CPC and PPC have not. They welcomed them, praised them, and therefore enabled them.
Where might we be now if all parties had stood with the PM just this once?
As a Jew with numerous family members lost to concentration camps and some survivors of the same, the CPC and particularly Ms. Lantsman’s faux outrage is one of the most shameful things I have ever seen. I am amazed at the CPC’s ability to excavate new lows.
