My wife and I visited her mom at the retirement center. Wanted to get a cup of coffee but the center's Keureg machine was broken. They were going to throw it out, so I took it home to try and fix it. Turns out the pump wasn't drawing water because of a bad filter, and after fixing that the thermostat just had to be reset. I had no idea how it worked beforehand; YouTube videos are great for this sort of thing!
Grok helped me create a Python script to find the information and values for my Magic the Gathering cards. I'm testing and modifying it now before adding all my cards to the text document.
I know there are websites for this, but there's something enjoyable about having my own program for the task!
I feel for you. I've loaned money to three different family members, and they all think they don't need to pay me back because it's in the past, like that excuses it somehow. If I'm feeling generous and have some extra cash I might help someone, but I'm not sacrificing my lifestyle to loan out money anymore.
@TigerBites Double digits. Too many. I get ideas for a story and start writing, then make a separate file of all the things to figure out before I feel like the story will work.
It's been a hobby for too long, I've been forcing myself to finish my current one now before I move on to the next
Working on a novel, and I realize I have to completely rewrite about 15,000 words because it doesn't fit the story anymore. Anyone else going through that now?
