@AbbyLCannon Could be, especially the latter (benchwarmer). He didn't specifically mention children here that I saw, instead he was talking about their different cultural backgrounds etc. I don't think either one is really a better reason/excuse though, as the end result for her is the same.
@RabbitholeGirl@ask_aubry Exactly. There was just another case of an 8 yo child raped on her "wedding night" by a middle-aged man. She died. He murdered her by raping an innocent child to death, and probably nothing will happen to him. People who justify this are all as sick, no matter which book they bow
@ask_aubry @h_zajtam The youngest recorded case of menstruation was 2,5 years. The poor little girl was raped, and also became the world's youngest mother. She gave birth at age 5 via C-section. No one was ever punished for what was done to her. Her name is Lina Medina.

@TheLazyAnole@dremilyportermd Oh, it absolutely should never be the only available type of healthcare, but it's a great help. Especially in rural areas (doctor can physically be anywhere), or for the elderly or people w/ disabilities/anxiety, or difficulty making the trip due to cost, work, kids, no car etc.
@butlerofdogs@fuzzymittens People just don't understand what it means. It's used in several European countries for back pain relief (doesn't help for other pain). It's injected under the skin in certain specific spots, ending up looking like a temporary blister. Patient obviously knows what's done and why.

@ChadNotChud If I had to choose my opponent, it would not be the hippo. This is like gym muscles vs someone who would kill the guy with gym muscles within 10 seconds.
@alyssaferrera_@blahblahemily And I agreed with that. But for most current people's lifetime there are much safer places. This doesn't mean changes to economy, supply chains, geopolitical stability etc. wouldn't still very negatively affect their quality of life, but natural disasters won't directly kill them
