@ERCOT_ISO Since mild hypothermia can begin when the body nears 95.5 degrees, this is unacceptable. Especially, considering that babies and the elderly who cannot regulate their body temps as well as others. Do better.
@I_egodeath@elle_bee_are@oncor I've done construction and worked on many mansions like the ones in Highland Park. When most people see mansions, they see just a larger house. However, the owner also has an extra 30 to 40k to spend on two massive generators. Most mansions have them unless they are older homes.
@Names_BasedJosh@Wale Yeah I get it I live in Dallas now but lived in Massachusetts for years.. The problem is that in TX no one could even buy gloves for their babies (sold out) and they've never needed them before smdh. Noreasterners learned how to prepare for cold long ago.
@ruddycheeks@oncor@ERCOT_ISO Thank you so much for letting us know! I always thought that the Texas electric grid is standalone for the rest of the continental US. Having to check Oklahoma news now. Better to know than not know- We truly hope everyone is doing the best they can with blankets.
@Seannse@jacknicklaus I think you're thinking of Jack Nicholson the actor. This is Jack Nicklaus the golfer. This Jack's best days are long gone and he hopes Twitter will let him be relevant again.
https://t.co/hJxK1G1h4u -I know that we're outside of the regular semester now. However, I've come across several articles in the news this past week relating to CRISPR and thought it was interesting and relevant to what we learned about in this course. #neurostud
Have always been interested in how Tinnitus is caused and what sounds most frequently lead to this damage (construction, gunfire, etc...) very interesting read here- https://t.co/WBaGAOPW9B #neurostud
@doctor_safi this link - https://t.co/XYWene5wE9 has an article discussing the temporal capacity of high-level visual regions. Although some of the article is a bit over my head, I am very amazed by everything at work in the brain to make visual perception possible. #neurostud
Spinal Cord Injury—Past, Present, and Future https://t.co/h3i8DRJomY - Went looking for spinal cord injury research. Found this- All three sections (Past, Present, and Future) worth reading. #neurostud
@doctor_safi@CNN Agreed..and as far as this particular article, I've always enjoyed sports but now the more I hear that repeated hits to the head (not necessarily the bell-ringing hits) can still cause CTE makes me wonder if I would ever let a child play football.
