I also saw the weirdest thing the other night. When staring at a blurry red TV light in a dark room (I wear glasses), I could've sworn I saw my eye cells moving or something! Kinda like floaters but circular and cell-like. I'm really curious as to how that happened. #neurostud
Taking this intro to neuro class has really been something I've enjoyed. I'm a pre med major and so learning the science of the body is super fascinating to me. I may actually want to persuade neurology if I make it! #neurostud

Whenever someone has a certain extremity amputated, the part of the motor and somatosensory cortex responsible for that extremity changes its plasticity and programs itself to invest action potentials on other nearby areas of the brain. #neurostud

that the part of the brain that’s normally wired to work with our eyes can instead rewire itself to process sound information instead of visual perception. Pretty fascinating! #neurostud @doctor_safi
Learning about the effects of certain drugs on the brain has always fascinated me. I wonder if the brain can fully recover from drug use to a certain extent? Or would there always be something (connections, emotions, memories) that's not quite the same anymore. #neurostud
