I don’t think I’ve ever been affected by a show like I have been by One Day on Netflix. Sad but beautiful reminder to embrace those you love and to not be afraid to tell them how you feel — for someday it could be too late.
you’ll meet people that value pride over apologizing for how they harmed you, who would rather lose you than take accountability to salvage your connection, who are so far gone in protecting their ego that they’ll let you slip through their fingers — & none of that is about you.
getting our feelings hurt is inevitable but the person who makes the time to hold space for you after the pain they’ve unintentionally caused is everything. the person who cares about you so much, that they’re willing to put in work to prevent history from repeating is the one.
i think the hardest thing about adulting is that you literally have to keep going! no matter what mood or situation you’re going thru. you gotta keep going cause life goes on
