From the stunning Wings of Love exhibition by @SanazAlborzi to a soul-stirring #SemaCeremony and mesmerizing musical performances, it was truly a celebration of #unity and #divineLove. ❤️

🌟 We were deeply honored to welcome Ms. Gevher Çelebi, a 22nd-generation descendant of Mevlânâ Rumî and a board member of the #InternationalMevlânaFoundation, who graced the evening with her inspiring presence.

✨ A heartfelt thank you to @TurkishAirlines, @TC_NewYorkBK, @anadoluagency and Turkish House for their support, and to our talented performers and musicians who made this evening unforgettable.

Harriet Fulbright…

Sometimes you have a heavy heart that cannot be expressed in words. We come to this realization when we lose people who touched and left a mark in our lives. I am saddened to hear about the passing of my trailblazer, Harriet Fulbright. I met her when I was a young man who had just graduated from university.

Madam Fulbright was my true friend who stood by me in difficult times, held my hand, and, most importantly, left a valuable mark in my life with her intellect and humanity. The world lost a wonderful person who embodied kindness, nobility, wisdom, and humility. While sending her off to a better place, I experienced an indescribable feeling of loneliness. Out of the countless memories spanning over 16 years, one of them is unforgettable. She honored our family in my hometown, where she was my marriage witness on my wedding day. The sentences she whispered into my ear at the end of the ten days we spent together were the most precious gift I have ever received: "A new and very special period in your life begins. If you want to be happy, you must work harder than before. You should touch more lives and be humbler every day. This way, you can be a good husband for your wife and a good father for your children." she said. 

On September 26, 2023, I lost an incredible mentor, and an extraordinary boss with confident shoulders that I could lean on and share my troubles; a truly rare sage, and most importantly, a true friend who was very difficult to find. Your memory lives in my heart and my prayers will always be with you. May God bless you with his mercy. Rest in peace, my dear Harriet. Love you forever.❤️🙏
