A lot of things in college sports seem out of control right now—no rules, no accountability, and too many people looking the other way. But gambling on your own sport? That’s a line you simply can’t cross.

As a fan, how can you trust what you’re watching? As a teammate standing in the huddle, how can you trust the guy next to you is giving everything he has? Integrity is the foundation of sports. Once that’s compromised, everything else comes into question.

Talent wins games, but character and trust are what hold a team together.
