“As a culture we’re so worried about what’s going to happen to us 30 years from now that we are not taking care of our brothers and sisters who need help today”
~ Francis Chan
Forgiving people for their lowdown dealings with you or their ugly words towards you won’t immediately heal the wounds their violation caused.
But it starts the healing process & opens the door for GOD to avenge you.
@brandonacox Yes! I feel like the closer we SEEM to get to the end of this mess, the worse I feel. I did better during the 'heat of battle. Now, I seem to just feel deflated.
Come all ye young rebels, and list while I sing,
For the love of one's country is a terrible thing.
It banishes fear with the speed of a flame,
And it makes us all part of the patriot game.
Speak up! Speak out! But, for the sake of the hearer, speak it with LOVE! Speaking the truth without love negates the message, and nullifies the credibility of the messenger.
“Truth without love is brutality, and love without truth is hypocrisy.” ~ Warren Wiersbe
Two people called 911 to report that a young black man had been spotted. Outside. Running. Not armed. Not committing a crime. In the daytime. Just running.
Black men are haunted by a kind of fear that I’ll never have to know in America. So tragic.
His name is #AhmaudArbery
I’ve been advised not to post about the murder of Ahmaud Arbery until I calm down a bit. But that’s part of the problem, isn’t it? We calm down and go on about our business. This must end. Our black brothers and sisters need white advocates to bring this to an end. Count me in!
