@generic__names The quote "The meaning of life is that it stops" shows another reason why, aside from the social inequity, immortality is a bad idea. It'd not only push down the less fortunate but also take away the purpose of life for the "privileged." It's a lose-lose.

@generic__names What do you mean by faster than they "should?" It's a bit of a slippery slope to say soon humans won't be needed. But, I do see your point in that as more tech gets integrated into industries, common workers are going to give up pay to the large machine-making business owners.

@lackadaisyyy Making a change in gun control is extremely difficult as the 2 largest political parties in the US have opposing views on the issue. Although spreading stories of devastation is powerful, it'll take more to change half the nation's mind on a subject so ingrained in our society.

@roborussian True. Another side to this argument is that abortions are not really school-related, at least not nearly as much as school shootings and school bathrooms. For this reason, I don't think a school walkout is an appropriate way to go about protesting abortions.

@towelthoughts @Cquyennn Love both your points. We spend so much time combatting sexual harassment based on a man harassing a woman. While this scenario is probably more common, both sides need to be considered. Aside from genders, what about the fact that it was a celebrity attacking a non-celebrity?

@towelthoughts Agreed. Dress codes are often full of excessive restrictions, unfairly centered on female students. However, I do not think is solely male students' responsibility--if a girl is wearing something clearly provocative, it is still her responsibility to tone it down.

@laurenmcookie I liked how many graphics there were to go with the information that was being spread. Also the amnesty table 👌🏻 But the most interesting/surprising thing was the section where people could post personal stories surrounding the MeToo movement. It was a serious eye-opener.
