@austinr2019 I think actors speaking up about stereotypes/diversity in the workplace is becoming a growing, positive movement. This seems similar to stories of other actors that have been boycotting accepting roles in movies that don’t have fair representation of minorities.#mchslang19

@maemmura Raising awareness is definitely a key part in combatting plastic pollution. I think other alternatives in doing so could include informative commercials about its effects on the environment and other media-based approaches. #mchslang19

@FailingLang I think so. If a work environment as strict as te Senate is willing to allow for this to take place I don’t see why other places such as office based jobs would not. However I could see this not working for more customer-interaction based professions. #mchslang19

@Frances26023258 I think the stigma around this is probably because emotions are often seen as “unprofessional” in today’s society for either gender. Although, I think men may be ostracized even more for doing so since it goes against society’s view of what is masculine as well. #mchslang19

@Frances26023258 I agree. I think this discrepancy between male and female occupational inclusion stems from the long term stigma of men being superior to women in the workplace. Hopefully as our society progresses and more women assume larger managerial roles this will change. #mchslang19
