Is prolonging the aluminum tariffs for another 30 days the right way to handle this situation? Is there any other way we can accomplish our export goals? #mchslang19 https://t.co/HMZxwMs0jz
Is the economic gain for the oil in these remote places really worth the potential environmental damage that could be caused by an oil spill? Such a spill would be impossible to clean up so it might end up costing more than money later on #mchslang19 https://t.co/t2qug3xZbM
@laurenmcookie I think it's all just relative. Debt may be the main issue to one student, whereas another's is the educational value of a school #mchslang19
@ash_inAP I think this may just be another example of, much like the WiiU, innovation gone awry. The constant push for something fresh and amazing is pushing companies to seek whatever idea they may have, no matter how silly it may be. #mchslang19
@cheesepizza94 I think the wall serves more a symbolic meaning than a literal wall. It's one big stop sign that'll cost us much more than we really should spend on something so silly. #mchslang19
@A_bar_of_clay I say put the consumers' safety first before all else. I'm willing to give up romaine lettuce for a few weeks if that means keeping my bowels safe. #mchslang19
@swimmingscoobs Though kindness certainly does go a long way, there are some people that just cannot be helped. If people were a bit kinder to Ted Bundy or Adolf Hitler, would things have been different? I say the answer lies beyond just being kind. #mchslang19
@michaelk4301 That would be suggesting that nature>nurture, and I don't agree with that. I say environmental factors play a much bigger part into depression than how someone was born, and as a result of such, should be focused on eliminating first before aiming higher. #mchslang19
@juneebug01 I agree completely. This seems like one big double standard. If he was, say, an immigrant or POC rather than a Trump supporter, there would have been an outrage. #mchslang19
@generic__names I say make self-driving cars so reliant that consumers will /want/ to put trust into the tech. What else is there to do, prevent the advancement of automotive tech forever? #mchslang19
@towelthoughts This just seems like one big silly overreaction. Would it someone's fault if their phrase was misinterpreted into something completely different? #mchslang19
@austinr2019 Preventing fishermen from losing their gear altogether seems like the better option. Strict fines for lost gear and equipment would be much easier to implement than to have to somehow create biodegradable fishing gear. #mchslang19
@CiteThatSource I'm hoping to stay optimistic about this. If policy does change for worse, I pray that we as a people will still have the power to fight against their decisions through rallies, protests, whatever it may take. #mchslang19
@bananapaper3 I think this is all just one big snowball effect. Rallies happen, rallies that are completely justifiable, but it soon escalates and rallies happen for selfish reasons such as these. #mchslang19
Though I can see the motives such actions, it just seems a bit selfish. For the sake of a pay increase, thousands of children lose their education. Imagine students missing finals for this. There is a solution out there, but this is not the right one. https://t.co/DQ6jq9vP7j
I couldn't put it any better and completely agree with him. The question now is how these "tasteless" comedians can be held accountable for such acts. #mchslang19 https://t.co/Ki9bRxs9d8
@gorillatitan22 Though I fully support genetic modification, the original genetic code must still be preserved. A lack of genetic diversity within a species might just screw us over. Could you imagine a life without coffee? It would be a dark, dark place, imo. #mchslang19
@CiteThatSource I've read before that drugs are so addictive because of their ability to fill in for essential human needs, such as love and acceptance within the community. I believe that if everyone was just a bit nicer, drugs wouldn't be as problematic as they are.
It's scary to see how often this happens, and how little we can do to stop it. 10% of 80-85% activity is not something to be proud of. How can we stop prevent the flow of drugs, and does the solution truly lie in preventing smuggling or discouraging use? #mchslang19 https://t.co/vSiD231fTt
