@chrishardman The word fartlek just means "speed play" in Swedish. It's a little subjective but typically refers to a continuous training run with variable speeds.
@chrishardman And you also get the biomechanical/neuromuscular benefit of the faster reps- which for someone training for a distance event is a very specific form of strength training.
@chrishardman That's why it says to only do it for 20 seconds at a time. The recovery bouts will probably be just as, if not more uncomfortable than the fast reps. That's the point of the workout - to practice "zone 2" aerobic running under a little more stress than normal
You want enough cash in checking to cover any bills, but you also want to maximize investments, keep emergency fund in high yield savings, and pay extra toward debt? How do you know how much you can put toward these things each month? That's what Cash Forth is for.
@w_firm@Bfrom916@Chris_Smth So a listing agent can pay to have a house staged but can't figure out how to secure valuables? I'm just saying it seems like an outdated system.
@w_firm@Bfrom916@Chris_Smth Not saying there's no role for them. Only questioning 1) % based compensation and 2) requirement for buyer's agent to be present at showings. I mean if adults couldn't be trusted to go in someone else's house unsupervised, then airbnb wouldn't exist.
@BillWiIdin How bout we all agree to keep tipping, only if they say "and now we are asking for a tip." No more "ok it's (not me - it) gonna ask you a little question."
@Bfrom916@Chris_Smth The main question is whether % based fee makes sense. And most people would probably opt out of bringing a chaperone to unlock the door for them, but for some reason we are all stuck with this antiquated system.
@Austen Other than initial signup bonus miles, they don't seem to be worth as much as cash back credit cards - in terms of miles earned per dollar spent, the value of each mile, and the inefficiencies involved in redeeming miles.
@loganallec I was using spreadsheets for years to do personal cashflow forecasting. It was too chaotic so I made this easy web app. Curious what you would think of it.
