I’ll be delivering a stack of pictures from the school year to each student. I love sharing these with each student and family to let them know how much we ❤️ their children. It’s fun looking back at all the activities we did together! #KingsStrong@SLEKnights@Kings_Schools
Yesterday, recorded my last daily morning meeting video and met virtually with students for the final time this school year.
Extra difficult to finish this way when I have a sweet 4th grader, who I’ve had for 3 years, moving up to the next building.

After yesterday's announcement from @GovMikeDeWine about continuing #remotelearning, an extreme sense of sadness was felt among ALL of our staff. We miss (y)our students & can't wait for all of us to be learning together once again! We. Miss. You. #KingsStrong, always. #COVID19
Your @Kings_Schools MD teachers are working hard every day during #remotelearning! Multiple screens, video chats, lesson planning, reading books, recording lessons, writing IEPs, using @Seesaw and @GoogleClasroom to connect with our families. We ❤️ our students! #KingsStrong
Anyone else in the #spededucator world love creating activities around individual student interests? Right now, looking up #narwhal activities on @Seesaw and thinking of ways to incorporate this into my #remotelearning
A couple of my students received a picture puzzle when I dropped off their supplies for #remotelearning. When we do our #GoogleMeet sessions they earn their pieces as they complete work. When all the pieces are matched, they know they’re all done with me! #specialedteacher
My families are helping their children participate in the assignments I post in @Seesaw. We are ❤️ing this platform! Remote learning is tough, but we’re rocking it! I think this is going to make me a better teacher in the end. #KingsStrong
@GoogleForEdu I’m a teacher pleading with you to create an interactive whiteboard within your programs similar to others on the market. Just take #googleslides and allow it to be both presentation and interactive whiteboard. This would be an immense help for so many educators!
In response to dozens of requests for help, we asked special education teachers what’s working for their students with special needs now learning from home.
