Fuck this. There’s already way too much stigma about meds and these ‘lifestyle changes’ often aren’t achievable until medication starts. Everyone is different but meds shouldn’t be a last resort

And stop using mental illness as a blanket term. There’s a huge difference in treatment for mood, personality, etc disorders. None of this will help you in a manic state. None of this will help you if you’re hallucinating. Every disorder is different and different for each person
