Recently, some medical students worked with us for a few weeks on their placement. As part of their placement, they had to produce a final presentation and this video was part of it!

Locally still an appetite to develop this but out of hours offer is key to success - this paper really highlights this with their ECHO hub playing an important role. We are not quite there yet with robust OOH support although plans are afoot so I remain hopeful 😊

Using mainly question sets in our model but have kit to allow obs if needed. Recognise won’t be needed for most.

We have also used funds to recruit directly into existing community specialist palliative care team to provide our VW staff - to allow for flex in capacity/demand across all the services

Still not fully MDT though so will need support of community enablement, social care, phlebotomy etc as needed
