@Lhlodder Her “coed” (who I saw in line at the post office yesterday) also needs that lesson. I was FLOORED this young adult did not know how to mail an envelope!! Domestic envelope! Postal worker taught her. #bringbackpenpals
@chimoose ...I also had a great doctor at Stanford that wrote down for me resources on the internet- she said go “here” AND told me where NOT to go. Maybe I’ve just had some great doctors, but mine have worked with me AND google 🙂
@chimoose ..... I don’t think it has to be one or the other. I would also recommend that doctors use google themselves to see what pops up when patients type in key words or symptoms so the doctors know what the are working with (or against)....
@chimoose ..... This is so you will have the correct spelling when you start googling.” We both laughed together! Doctors need to embrace google and knowing that their patients are going to use it they can make great recommendations on what to google and the reliable sources......
@chimoose One of my favorite doctors at MD Anderson took out his business card, turned it over, and wrote the name of my upcoming procedure on it. He then handed it to me (in 2010) with a knowing smile and said, “Here.....
