@JonDenton At 34, the intense (self applied) pressure to succeed but no or little clarity is still real. Always wish I’d specialised in something earlier in life rather than never knowing what to do. I do alright, but I could do better and in something I’m truly passionate about.

Saw this today - although it’s transparent, is a bit of a con too.

The device cost is £59 over RRP turning a promoted £105 discount into a £46 discount in reality.

Can we talk more about how @O2 (and others) suggest they offer 0% APR on device plans, but the price of the handset is marked up from RRP.

Businesses naturally want/need to make money from the customer but some ways feel more honest than others. Example:

📱15 Pro Max 512GB

Apple: £1399
O2: £1505

Looks like £106 of interest to me.

The information is there (if you click to see it), but I bet many don’t realise.

@EE seem to markup but don’t claim 0% which is better.

@ThreeUK advertise 0% and don’t markup, how it should be. In fact the phone price is listed as slightly less than RRP for the 15 Pro Max.

@VodafoneUK are the same as Three.
