@Beersforopeners @liberalnotlefty @uberfeminist I subscribe to the proposition that race is a social construct. I think pomo has a point here. I don't deny biological differences.....but the bio diffs we identify as relevant are a product of socially constructed categories.

What about Blumenbach? 1 of the citations in that wiki cites Gould, which is worrisome since he was a dogmatic social constructionist. 1/2
