CEOs of the largest companies in America make 281 times what the typical worker makes.
Since 1978, pay for these CEOs has skyrocketed 1,094%. Typical worker pay? 26%.
So no, your $5 coffee isn’t why you can’t afford rent.
They killed our pensions and floated it as your responsibility in the form of a 401k. They gutted unions who fought them to secure more rights for workers. They consolidated power and hoarded all the wealth just to call you lazy for thinking you deserve better.
After this performance the band did an interview saying this was the best performance they have ever done. Just this song. Everyone was on cue. Perfect. Not a note missed by anyone. Pitch. Tone. Timing. All perfect. They said they never performed this good ever before. And you can clearly tell.❤️🎶
Fleetwood Mac – Everywhere
Norway is a small country. We don't have a fleet of open-top double-decker buses, so we make do with what we've got, & that's part of the charm! We slapped a few "Alt for Norge" stickers on Oslo's sightseeing buses, and just like that, they became the national team's victory parade. It's wonderfully Norwegian, completely chaotic, and I love every minute of it!❤️🇳🇴
The national team is parading through Oslo in an open-top bus from the Royal Palace to City Hall, as people line the streets to celebrate Norway’s historic World Cup achievement.
If your parents made 40k in the 1990s, you’d need to make 170k to have the same lifestyle in 2026
So 170k is the new 40k
This should absolutely shock you
There's a parasite spreading through the US right now that you cannot wash off your food, cannot catch from another person, and will not feel for a full week after you've already eaten it.
Michigan alone has close to 1,000 confirmed cases. It's called Cyclospora, and almost everything about how it works is backwards from what you'd expect.
Start with the washing. The chlorine rinses that kill E. coli and salmonella on your lettuce do nothing to this. The parasite travels as an oocyst, a shell built to survive in soil and water, and it shrugs off standard produce sanitizer. Rinsing your salad is not enough. Cooking is the only reliable kill.
Then the part that sounds impossible. You cannot catch it from a sick person, even one in your own house. A freshly shed oocyst is completely harmless. It has to sit out in the environment for one to two weeks to ripen before it can infect anyone. So it can never pass human to human. Every single case traces back to contaminated water or raw produce.
That ripening window is also why you don't feel it for about a week after eating. By the time the explosive symptoms hit, the meal that carried it is long gone from memory, which is exactly why these outbreaks are so hard to trace.
And it's a produce problem specifically. Cyclospora is endemic to warm tropical regions and hitches in on fresh imports eaten raw. Cilantro, basil, and berries have all been past culprits. It's why cases spike every summer.
Which explains what Taco Bell actually did. They pulled the lettuce, guacamole, pico, and cilantro-onion. They kept the beef, the beans, the cheese. The raw produce was the only possible vector, and cooking neutralizes the rest.
A parasite that's defenseless the second it leaves your gut, but spends a week in the dirt turning into a weapon.
I miss when "The News" was just a guy in a suit telling you what happened, instead of a 24 hour panic machine designed to make you hate your neighbor so you don't notice your rent went up 30%.
No living calves born. All stillborn calves, since d[ata] centers were built near the land of farmers. The noise coming from them, are causing stillbirths. If these are the effects these centers have on mammals, what are they doing to pregnant human mothers
