In the Dubanochi Panchayat of Pothia Block, Kishanganj district—located along the Bihar-Bengal border—an elderly Muslim man was targeted; his beard was yanked, he was taunted as a "*Kathmulla*" (a derogatory slur implying religious fanaticism), and an attempt was made to force-feed him alcohol. When he refused to drink, he was brutally beaten. A Hindu man who stepped in to save the elderly victim was also assaulted by the extremists.

पीड़ित लड़की हरियाणा की रहने वाली है। CRPF जवान मोहित से पूर्व परिचित थी। 21 सितंबर को मोहित उसे सोनीपत से मेरठ ले आया। यहां कार में दूसरा जवान लालाराम यादव बैठ गया।

ये सभी अमरोहा के फार्म हाउस पर पहुंच गए। यहां UP पुलिस का दरोगा संजय तोमर भी आ गया। सिपाही सभी के लिए दारू–मुर्गा लेकर आया। इसके बाद सभी ने लड़की से रेप किया।

जिस फार्म हाउस में रेप हुआ है, उसके मालिक उत्तराखंड के निर्दलीय विधायक उमेश शर्मा बताए गए हैं।

In 2025, BJP leader Kirit Somaiya alleged that in Malegaon, government employees were complicit in issuing birth certificates to Bangladeshi and Rohingya nationals on the basis of forged documents. Following this, the Maharashtra government constituted a Special Investigation Team (SIT) and imposed a ban on the issuance of delayed birth/death certificates.
During the SIT and Enforcement Directorate (ED) investigations, the name of Ghazala Parveen, a clerk at the Malegaon Municipal Corporation, came up. She was arrested in March 2025. She is accused of playing a role in issuing birth certificates on the basis of fake documents. The ED has also treated this as a money-laundering case.
Ghazala Parveen has been lodged in Nashik Road Central Jail for the past 18 months. Her two young children—a son and a daughter—have appeared in videos, appealing to meet their mother and asking people to pray for her release. The family says the children miss their mother deeply.
In August 2025, the ED obtained court permission to interrogate Ghazala Parveen and four other accused persons in jail.

So far, no charge has been proven against Ghazala Parveen, yet she continues to be held in jail.

देश के अलग-अलग हिस्सों में मस्जिदों और धार्मिक संस्थानों से जुड़े विवादों और कार्रवाई को लेकर मुस्लिम संगठनों की सक्रियता दिखाई दे रही है। इसी बीच जमीयत उलेमा-ए-हिंद की वर्किंग कमेटी की बैठक मौलाना महमूद मदनी की अध्यक्षता में हो रही है, जिसमें मस्जिदों, मदरसों, धार्मिक स्थलों और संवैधानिक अधिकारों से जुड़े मुद्दों पर चर्चा की जा रही है। ऐसे में सवाल उठता है कि सुन्नी बरेलवी मसलक से जुड़े प्रमुख धार्मिक और सामाजिक संगठन इन मुद्दों पर अपनी सामूहिक आवाज कब सामने रखेंगे?

बरेली को सुन्नी बरेलवी मसलक का प्रमुख धार्मिक केंद्र माना जाता है। इसके बावजूद, मौजूदा विवादों और धार्मिक स्थलों से जुड़े मामलों पर बरेलवी संगठनों की ओर से कोई बड़ी सामूहिक बैठक या स्पष्ट कार्ययोजना अभी सामने नहीं आई है।

क्या बरेलवी संगठनों की ओर से भी जल्द कोई बैठक बुलाई जाएगी? क्या इन मुद्दों पर देशभर के बरेलवी संगठनों को एक मंच पर लाकर साझा रणनीति तैयार की जाएगी अब सवाल सिर्फ प्रतिक्रिया का नहीं, बल्कि पहल का भी है।
