The images coming out of Gaza are horrific. Netanyahu has resumed his genocidal bombing campaign. We need a permanent ceasefire now. End the apartheid. Free Palestine.
@Eric_Erins As someone who grew up in the area, I think you’d be hamstrung without a car unless you have a very localized itinerary to a small, walkable radius (or are happy to call Lyfts as needed).
Happy #MayDay2023, Chicago. May we always stand in solidarity with workers everywhere to ensure fair wages, safe working conditions, and the right to organize.
Never forget: the power of the people is what has built this city and makes Chicago strong.
Breaking: Paul Vallas has called Brandon Johnson and conceded, a Johnson campaign spokesman says.
Johnson, a former public school teacher and Chicago Teachers Union organizer, is Chicago's 57th mayor.
I’m honored to earn the support of @ChuyChicago and grateful for the opportunity to join our coalitions together to build a safer, stronger Chicago.
Rep. García has long been an exemplary public servant and together we will transform our city to work for all Chicagoans
When asked what he loved about Chicago, Paul Vallas oddly said "We're like the Saudi Arabia of fresh water!" laughed like a supervillain, and said if only we would use our water 'right.' Talking about climate change and privatizing fresh water in the same breath.🤑🚰 @ChicagoWTA
@greenfieldjohn@Amtrak@schmangee As someone with family in that part of Ohio (and as a someone who doesn't own a car) it's a huge bummer. I would take Amtrak almost every time to visit family if their service ran at more reasonable hours.
