@ClarkMetAddison I would just love to know how the brewers are so good all the time. They trade their star each offseason and come back better the next year. I was so happy when we signed counsell but now I know the brewers were good in spite of him not because of him
@michaelsbusch29 I have always said Alcantara is a AAAA player but I think Ramirez has potential he seems to have a good eye at the plate. Also I think Shaw is an AAAA player
@Michael_Cerami The bad part is they don't have anyone they can trade away because they are definitely headed towards being sellers. Happ has NTC and Suzuki is worthless right now. The only one another team may actually want is Carson Kelly
@EvanCollins92@Michael_Cerami I agree I would rather trade Suzuki and some of the relievers than trade away prospects for rentals this year. The cubs are several pieces away from contention
@EvanCollins92@Michael_Cerami I just had a feeling a month ago that things were only going to get worse I just didn't think it would get this bad. It seems like every year the whole offense goes silent but never for this long. Hopefully they turn it around but I fear its already too late for the division
@EvanCollins92@Michael_Cerami If they keep on this trajectory, yeah. Regardless they are not a contender for a WS and 1 or 2 additions are not going to change that their core of Happ, Suzuki, and everyone else have always been streaky and they get hot and cold at the same time
@CubsZone Great performance from Brown. The only issue is we need him in the pen too. We have to rely on Maton and I have no idea who counsell brings in for the 8th
@CubsZone I don't know the numbers but is there a worse hitter than seiya with RISP less than 2 outs? I feel like the dude strikes out 95% of the time, GIDP 4%, walks 0.85% and gets a hit 0.15%
@Cubskickass100#cubs stand 0% chance of scoring off of this braves BP meanwhile either Shota or whoever replaces him is about to give up at least 1 run in the bottom of the 7th
