@Sharkwife3 It’s a brand new medicine every day. The side effects are worse than any symptoms we ever had. Just got an invitation for a flu shot from CVS. I sent back, no thanks!! I’m trying to go as med free as I can at 60.
@TheReactionGif Yes! As a former teacher, my students used to tell other students to go get them some of those “free” glasses. I explained that they were not “free” but payed for by all those around them that work like teachers, custodians, maintenance people, and police officers.
@VigilantFox I play a casual PC game sometimes. I belong to a couple of their Facebook groups. The amount of people whose lives literally revolve around the game is staggering! They have complete mental breakdowns if the game is bugging. I’m like, just get off the computer and live life.
@w_bitterman We have quite a few but I do all my study in one I got in 1984. I had it rebound a few years ago and Leonard’s Books did an amazing job. I make notes all the time. It’s the one physical book I will fight to keep.
@mattvanswol My first thought was that our only hope is to pray our way out of it. But that doesn’t align with my beliefs. Instead, we must pray our way through it. Submitting to God’s will and acting accordingly. Prayer is not always passive. Sometimes God’s answer requires us to act.
@Sharkwife3 I actually like beer when the mood strikes me. I gave up alcohol completely a few months ago but now I indulge in an Ultra 0 every once in a while. Same with soda. I rarely drink it but sometimes I just want a Sprite.
