It's not 100% correct as even if this is a foul than the guy who has done it , nowhere involved in scoring the goal . Also the same action is not responsible for scoring the goal as it took several seconds and countered opponents resistance to reach to the other side of the ground and score. Referee got enough time to stop and declare the foul which he did not. If this cam go to VAR than surely the egypt request also should irrespective of outcome . That's call transparent system .

The system and process are symbols of trust and must be transparent and accessible to all. The doubt and dispute arose because Egypt was denied VAR. It's not about the outcome, but they should have been allowed to access the system at that moment to uphold transparency. The referee failed big time to do that.
