Today is a sad day: unfortunately we learned that Rod Sladen died peacefully in 02-2022 (73). Rod helped us a lot for #catchtheiridium project by reconstructing the Constellation Status (https://t.co/eiXi00ceHy) precisely. Farewell Mr Sladen and thanks for everithing 😢🛰️

One of my first captures of an #IridiumFlare was the only shot I ever got of SV98 on 18 June 2018. What a joy that was! It was a –2.8mag. 🤩❤️🛰✨ I hope Twitter compression doesn't wipe it out.
