@virginmedia how come you cancel engineer visits without telling customers ? I had to take half day off work to wait in for the engineer and then informed it was cancelled when I call 151 to find out what’s happening 😡
@virginmedia Just had a 'conversation' with VM complaints dept - they said it's standard practice to cancel an engineer visit if the issue affects the area - without informing customers who do not know it's an area issue - even if they have booked time off to wait.

@virginmedia Not the first time it’s happened - before that I was waiting in for a Sunday morning appointment - again cancelled without telling me - really bad communication from a “communications” company
@virginmedia 151 told me they’d sent a voicemail to inform of the cancellation - a lie - was so angry I hung up - they said the engineer was cancelled because it was a fault in the area - doesn’t help with my lost half day off work !
