Here it is: Taylor Bolt used complex PCA to capture both standing and traveling wave structure in global BOLD fMRI signals. He found that a range of phenomena (FC gradients, global signal, QPPs, FC network structure) are all manifestations of three spatiotemporal patterns (1/2).
