Megyn Kelly TORE into President Trump over his “completely irresponsible and disgusting” social media posts on Tuesday: “I don’t know about you, but I am sick of this sh*t! I’m just– I’m sick of it. Can’t he just behave like a normal human? I mean, honestly, like the president—‘3D chess’—just shut up! F*cking shut up about that sh*t! You don’t threaten to wipe out an entire civilization. We’re talking about civilians, just casually in a social media post.”
“I am the first to try to understand Trump and his strategy and not freak out over his weird social media posts and language that is loose and incendiary. Truly, I’ve lived with it for ten plus years. I learned it the hard way, when I was on the receiving end of it for nine months, and truly I think that was a gift to me in many ways because it helped me really come to understand what he does with his social media. But this is completely irresponsible and disgusting. This is wrong. It’s wrong. He should not be doing it.”
“I don’t care that it’s a—his negotiation tactic is to kill an entire country full of civilians—men, women, and children— an American president, so that the Strait of Hormuz will be opened? It’s just wrong. It’s not hard to say it, it’s not hard to recognize it. I wish he would stop doing this. Like, he can’t negotiate without doing this? What does that say about him?”
“What does that say about the position that our country is in right now in these negotiations? He’s got to say this? He can’t be a dignified, strong leader without threatening a bunch of war crimes? Like what is he, Genghis Khan? Like, what is he trying to do and why can’t he do it with strength – threats, sure, go for it – that don’t diminish and demean the United States of America in this way?”
Tucker Carlson: "Standing in front of American Flags in the White House…as you liken the President of the United States to Jesus…How could any Christian watch that and not feel revulsion?… You cannot allow that in good faith if you're a Christian."
GOP Senator Kennedy admits Trump is the reason for TSA shutdown: "He said said 'No deals with the Democrats.' We could have had TSA paid by the end of the week. But the President said 'No deal.'"
Our future presents two terrible possibilities:
In one, we have to explain to our grandchildren how a man as morally repugnant as Trump ever became President
In the other, our moral standards for President become so low that no explanation is ever necessary.
“This is not a country having a bad day. I need you to understand that. Countries have bad days. Elections go wrong. Leaders disappoint. Institutions bend. But there is a different thing, a rarer and more terrible thing, that happens when the moral center of a place simply gives way. Not dramatically. Not with a single catastrophic event. But quietly, in increments, until one evening a president celebrates the death of an old man whose family is still warm with grief, and enough people find it acceptable that it becomes the weather.”
Trump posts that after the “death of Iran,” Americans’ “greatest enemy” is now the “Radical Left, Highly Incompetent, Democrat Party.”
This kind of rhetoric is beyond irresponsible and dangerous. It is anti-American.
Below are the words of Donald Trump today: “Robert Mueller just died. Good, I’m glad he’s dead.”
And these are the words of JD Vance in September 2025 after Charlie Kirk’s death: “If you celebrate Charlie Kirk’s death, you should not be protected from being fired for being a disgusting person.”
And this is the Word of God:
"Do not gloat when your enemy falls; when they stumble, do not let your heart rejoice, or the Lord will see and disapprove.” -Proverbs 24:17-18
We should never celebrate death, even the death of our adversary. It is just as wrong to celebrate the death of Robert Mueller as it is to celebrate the death of Charlie Kirk.
“For I take no pleasure in anyone’s death.”
-Ezekiel 18
Be like God. Not like Trump.
Trump is so unpresidential and such an embarrassment to our country.
God forbid, when someone dies, you say nothing at all if you have nothing nice to say—a concept we teach literal children.
Meanwhile, many MAGA commentators who tried to cancel anyone who (grossly) made similar comments about Charlie Kirk will either completely ignore or defend this by Trump.
Sad!
This is actually a very important moment. And I know that sounds basic. But the more insane things become around us, the more it’s important to point out that this must never be acceptable behavior from a president. Ever. Normalize never normalizing this.
The president is a deeply unwell person, but that anybody would rush to join him in defaming an American patriot on the day of his death is still shocking
Donald Trump is so clearly, inarguably, utterly depraved and disgusting, yet millions of Christians pretend he shares our values because he promises them the authority and splendor of the kingdom of this world.
When Charlie Kirk was murdered, those of us on the conservative side rightly chastised those of our political adversaries who cheered and celebrated his death. We accused them--again rightly--of shameful callousness and of polluting public discourse and coarsening social life. What President Trump does here merits the same chastisement, for the same reasons.
Q: “Do you think Donald Trump has betrayed America First?”
TUCKER: “I think that this war is something that he promised he wouldn't do. Not once, but countless times. And until YouTube is banned, we'll be able to prove that.”
I hate having a president who celebrates when people die. Basic respect and human decency are still worth caring about, even if a large number of people have decided that’s lame and old-fashioned. I hope we recover that before long.
Under no circumstances is this an acceptable thing for anyone to say, let alone the President Of The United States. No Christian should celebrate this statement. How incredibly shameful.
The shrugging responses or outright support from most rank-and-file Republican voters on this website to Trump’s depraved response to Mueller’s death only reinforce why I left the party. The rot goes all the way down. Impossible to associate with it.
