@4kbRAM @m1s3ry_ @ConcernedApe I think the main issue is I’ve never seen “moreno” used to mean a tan, especially not as a noun. I figured it out by googling it. It only means a brown man in Mexico. So though we know “coger” can mean grab, “grabbing a brown guy this summer” still isn’t much of an improvement.

@sullyhasthots @JarettSays In the book, traveling Henry keeps glancing at the door, and his obvious anxiety makes younger Henry get up to check the lock, which inadvertently unlocks the door. He can’t seem to get the words out to warn him. He can’t stop it because it already happened. It’s a fixed event.

I criticized the original decision myself. No one is asking for unearned praise here, just respect.

@forest_solitude @plumbellayt I actually think the gurus themselves had only the best intentions when the decision was announced. They thought it was the most moral choice for LGBT rights, as did a lot of the community. We can learn to do better without tearing each other down in the process.
