@sportswithjohn You guys should look into doing fuzzy socks! I would love to subscribe but I don’t really wear patterned socks unless they’re the fuzzy kind.
@fubarphenomnom @G8orNationN8ive@DaveFreese123 He’s been in my thoughts constantly, tweets are not a representation of priorities. There is nothing I could say to him that hasn’t already been said more eloquently by someone else. Religious blessings are lovely too. But proselytism isn’t a blessing, it’s a conditional offer.
@DaveFreese123@StokesNeuro This right here is why people don’t like Christianity. You are weaponizing someone’s fear and vulnerability in an attempt to convert them. It’s predatory. And instead of succeeding, you’ve made hundreds of other people, if not thousands, think less of your religion. Nicely done.
@4kbRAM@m1s3ry_@ConcernedApe I think the main issue is I’ve never seen “moreno” used to mean a tan, especially not as a noun. I figured it out by googling it. It only means a brown man in Mexico. So though we know “coger” can mean grab, “grabbing a brown guy this summer” still isn’t much of an improvement.
@sullyhasthots@JarettSays In the book, traveling Henry keeps glancing at the door, and his obvious anxiety makes younger Henry get up to check the lock, which inadvertently unlocks the door. He can’t seem to get the words out to warn him. He can’t stop it because it already happened. It’s a fixed event.
@Waffle_64@TheSims Bruh, gurus are allowed to take time off like anyone else, especially from their personal guru twitter account, which as far as I know is an optional part of their jobs. And they’re under no obligation to let us know in advance. Mental health comes first, always.
@ehs06702@candybombbb@TheSims You can voice criticism without getting personal or assuming bad intent. “Hey, this is actually not good, because of A, B and C” is a mature and respectful way of handling things. I criticized the original decision myself. No one is asking for unearned praise here, just respect.
@TheMimosaQueen @enderlure @davimachaado@TheSims Or maybe it’s recognizing you’ve made a mistake and rectifying it to be a better ally? Amazing how some people will find a negative take for literally everything.
@gimmescars@lilsimsie@TheSimCommunity Just read things before you comment on them. The article very clearly explains that the pack will be released “unaltered and unchanged” globally.
@plumbellayt Waiting one week for global release is honestly the best case scenario, I’m thrilled. Equal access for all queer people AND no straightwashing or erasure? Sign me up.
@pixel_stixel @plumbellayt I noticed this earlier, I feel like the gurus got the brunt of all this when it was never their fault, and I’m worried that might have taken a toll on some of them. I hope the situation with Ninja’s profile is just a coincidence.
@forest_solitude @plumbellayt I actually think the gurus themselves had only the best intentions when the decision was announced. They thought it was the most moral choice for LGBT rights, as did a lot of the community. We can learn to do better without tearing each other down in the process.
