A couple of thoughts on Natalie Harp. First, I'm so glad that people on our side are concerned about her and her mental health. It's because we have hearts and empathy and we aren't sociopaths. We're good people, and I love that about us. But I think we are also right to be angry. Natalie Harp is a government employee, paid by tax dollars and accountable to the people. She’s 35, and while it seems her emotional growth may have been stunted at a younger age by trauma, there are millions of us who can say the same, but none of us are propping up a murderous dictator. There are also national security concerns. She spent a year at the White House without clearance - and as a gatekeeper to Trump - she’s a vulnerable entry point for enemies. That's especially bad since Donald is also a useful idiot. She’s clearly been hurt. Perhaps by a cult or an abuser, and hurt people hurt people. But at some point, the bad acts can’t be legally or politically tolerated. That’s why we put Ghislaine Maxwell - who started out a s a victim - in prison for sex trafficking. Natalie Harp’s job is to keep Trump happy so he can focus on being a brutal autocrat. She's a taxpayer-funded enabler. Reporting on her is no different than reporting on Leavitt or Bondi. She's not off-limits. And she has faster access to quality mental health care than any of us.

Let's not forget for one moment that none of this is normal.

Hind Rajab's mother posted this after 'israel' admitted they murdered her 5 year old daughter:

'I am the mother of Hind Rajab.

After more than two years, the "israeli" military has finally acknowledged that its forces opened fire on the car in which Hind and my family were trapped, and that it will open a criminal investigation, despite denying this at the time.

But I want to say this clearly: opening an investigation is not justice.

Hind was a frightened and injured child, trapped inside the car among the bodies of her family members, pleading with the world to save her. The paramedics who went to rescue her were later killed.

Why was there no investigation when Hind was begging for help? Why was there no investigation when the paramedics went to save her? And why, after more than two years?

I do not want a closed military investigation. I want an independent, transparent investigation and genuine accountability for everyone responsible.

Hind is not just a news story or a case reopened because of international pressure.

Hind is my daughter, and I will continue to demand the truth and justice for her, my family, and the paramedics who tried to save her.

Opening an investigation is a long-overdue step.

OK, so follow me through on this. He announces the tariffs on April 2 of last year. The markets tank nonstop for like a week because it’s a disastrous trade policy, and six days into the crash, April 8, Trump buys millions in stock. I’m talking Amazon, Nvidia, Apple, Microsoft, Berkshire Hathaway, and then the very next morning, April 9, he posts on Truth Social, quote, “This is a great time to buy.” Three exclamation marks.

OK, now listen to this. Three hours and 41 minutes after that post, one day after he bought millions in stock, he canceled the tariffs and triggered one of the biggest same-day rebound rallies in market history.

He’s trying to get money. And you saw, now he’s offering paid subscriptions to presidential announcements, right? Just understand what’s for sale here: The sitting president’s pronouncements on war and peace and economic policy delivered first to paying customers.

What an absolute crook.

A Palestinian-American home in the West Bank is under siege from Israeli settlers and soldiers for the third straight day.

Homeowner Yousef Hassan, his wife, and their two young daughters (aged two and four) are currently trapped inside. The family is running out of food, the electricity has been cut off by the settlers, and the couple's two-year-old daughter is in need of medical attention, regional reports state.

The two-story villa on the outskirts of the West Bank village of Qusra, south of Nablus, belongs to a Palestinian-American from the Abu Rida family who currently resides in the United States.

Extremist Israeli settlers have set up a makeshift structure and canopy directly in front of the house, entirely blocking the family from leaving, receiving visitors, or bringing in food and water.

Israeli soldiers arrived at the property but did not remove the settlers; instead, footage shared online showed soldiers joining the settlers in prayer and taking photos at the encampment while continuing to block aid, journalists, and ambulances from reaching the home.

We ate on the floor because the sofa was against the wall and none of us wanted to be the first to sit on it.

Tony told me his daughter plays soccer. I asked if she is good. He said, "She's aggressive."

I still think about that.

"You free Sunday? Helping Tony move a fridge."

He did not ask if I wanted to. He informed me of a fridge.

🇵🇸💢 “The disaster is even more severe”: Israeli strike wipes out much of Gaza’s remaining strategic medical stockpile

An Israeli strike destroyed two of four central medicine warehouses at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah, including equipment and solutions needed to keep kidney dialysis services operating.

Standing amid the wreckage, hospital director Raed Hussein told Drop Site contributor Abdel Qader Sabbah that the attack would have a “direct impact” on dialysis care and could force the hospital to halt treatment unless replacement supplies are secured.

“The damage is even greater, the disaster is even more severe, and it will make it much harder for us to respond in the coming period,” Hussein said.

Dr. Mounir al-Bursh, director general of Gaza’s Health Ministry, told Al Jazeera Arabic that the warehouses held the ministry’s strategic medical stockpile and that the strike destroyed large quantities of medicines and supplies.

More than 52% of medicines and 54% of medical supplies are now unavailable, including dialysis supplies, al-Bursh said.

He warned that Israel’s blockade, restrictions on medical imports, and repeated attacks on Gaza’s remaining healthcare infrastructure are depriving thousands of patients of treatment.

“The loss of these warehouses means losing life-saving medicines and making patient care even more difficult.”

Every few years they give you a new enemy.

In the nineties it was welfare queens and crack addicts and super-predators.

In the 2020s it was the other political party, upgraded to existential threat, fascists, communists, destroyers of democracy, depending on which channel you watched.

Notice what is never the enemy.

The hedge fund manager who bought your neighborhood and raised your rent 40 percent is never the enemy.

The pharmaceutical executive who priced insulin at a level that makes rationing a survival strategy for American diabetics is never the enemy.

The defense contractor CEO who has budgeted for cost overruns as a profit mechanism and built political protection into every congressional district where a factory or base exists is never the enemy.

The private equity firm that bought the hospital, extracted its capital, laid off the nurses, and left the community without emergency services is never the enemy.

They are never on the screen.

They are never the face you're shown when you're told to be angry.

They are never the subject of the prime time segment.

They are the people who own the screen.

The enemy is always someone who looks like the person next to you.

Always someone who can be found in your neighborhood, your workplace, your family dinner.

Never someone who can be found on the Forbes list, the Davos guest list, the Epstein flight manifest.

This is not accidental.

This is the product.

NEW | Israel is Spending Millions to Manipulate AI Narratives on Gaza

An investigation by Drop Site News revealed that the Israeli government is paying $46.5 million to former Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale’s firm, Clock Tower X, to flood the internet with pro-Israel content aimed at influencing AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, Perplexity, and other large language models.

The operation publishes hundreds of articles promoting Israeli narratives, including denying or downplaying evidence of genocide in Gaza, questioning the killing of Palestinian civilians, and portraying Israel’s military attacks as lawful.

Experts cited in the investigation said the campaign has already succeeded in infiltrating AI training data and search results, making Israeli government messaging more likely to appear in chatbot responses. All of the websites used in the campaign carry a disclosure under the U.S. Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA).

According to the investigation, several AI platforms have cited websites created under the Israeli government-funded campaign without clearly informing users that the content was produced as part of a foreign influence operation.

Calibrated to maximize engagement, which means maximizing outrage, which means finding the fights that produce the most heat and the least structural threat to the people who own the platforms, the channels, and the politicians discussing them.

You are not being informed.

You are being managed.
