@jillberry102 @chrishildrew They need to believe they can achieve... And that takes time to know them and their barriers to learning.. Then in my experience if you can find their strengths.. Talents.. Interests you can relate this to their learning experience... Just a thought..

@jpembroke So why if the DFE measures don't do them any favours are we not doi g something about this. There are lots of dedicated and talented teachers and lots of incredible children who will be our future but need time to experience, develop and grow..are they becoming statistics

Had an amazing day today with a year 2 class... Inspirational ideas about writing a snow poem... Made all the better because they could recall their experiences of not to long ago snow.. Children I think write best from what they experience and uses all their developing skills

@WinterImagines @MichaelRosenYes I recall the paper and having to have my level three writing moderated by a panel.. The writing was a true expression of their passion for putting their ideas on paper. They were the potential writers of the future
