@MarkAvery @BirdNorthants @wildlifebcn@NaturalEngland@_Northants_BRC Always a magical moment to see a flock of these wonderful birds! Great that you have shared the sighting with @_Northants_BRC and @wildlifebcn as we’ve trying to better understand the movement of SPA species in the wider landscape 👍

Good to see some areas of the #OlympicPark left uncut over winter. Great for #Invertebrate#Conservation for the many species that overwinter in seedheads. Positive results revealed in the summer survey @idverde_QEOP
Pretty sure I’ve just seen a Beautifully fresh specimen of the very rare Bombus muscorum in this field of red clover in @noordinarypark. An all ginger bumblebee with intense ginger on thorax. @StevenFalk1@BumblebeeTrust@Bex_Cartwright lots of pascuorum & humilis too
Stitch meadows at the @noordinarypark still looking fabulous and providing food for pollinators throughout August when all our native trees and shrubs have ceased flowering. Covered in bees including these rare Bombus humilis #sillyurbanmeadows
Home after an 8 hour bee hunt around the @noordinarypark. 20 species of bee, masses of solitary wasps, long horn beetles, Burnett moths, painted lady butterfly, nesting sand martins, dragonflies galore, cockchaffer. At least 30 Bombus humilis workers in fantasticology meadows!
