"Make sure those baganda don't get numbers!" These words from Anita Among, the supposed Speaker of Parliament, are despicable, unacceptable and criminal! She is being openly tribalistic against the people of Buganda right inside the Parliament of Uganda situated in Buganda. If we lived under a sane system, she would have resigned by now! Under instructions from Museveni, she had come to make sure that the Coffee Amendment Bill goes through by hook or crook—leave alone the fact that she should ordinarily be a neutral presiding officer for the House. Here she is mobilising for the support of one side of the debate. With all the crimes she continues to commit, she continues to be shielded by Gen. Museveni and his criminal regime. THE PEOPLE OF UGANDA MUST RISE UP AND SAY ENOUGH TO THIS HUMILIATION!
The officer in khaki is called Temia. Her force number is 56041. You can see she’s doing a great job. Kindly make her famous & let the world know her good deeds in fighting corruption. 📸 @Mattephotoz
At the height of the 2021 election, abductions of our supporters took place all over the country. One of the victims was this powerful woman, Ms. Jolly Jackline Tukamushaba. She was picked up from her home in Rukiga District, South-Western Uganda and taken away to Makenke Military Barracks where she spent a month and one week without trial.
Her only crime was being found in possession of our campaign posters! For over a month, her whereabouts were not known to anyone, including her family members. She was on our initial list of missing persons. It was after we raised voices about her case that they paraded her before the Division Court Martial at Makenke Barracks and charged her with possession of military attire- claiming they found her with a red beret. This was long after the elections. They interrogated her about her links with us, our sources of funding, what we were planning to do, and other ridiculous issues. Interestingly, she was only volunteering. At that point, she wasn't even in touch with the Secretariat.....she was only driven by her passion for a better country. Upon release, they warned her against continuing to support us, and in fact asked her to use the same energy she was using to campaign for us to promote Mr. Museveni. She rejected this!
We were very delighted to meet her this morning. Very impressive to see that her passion for the struggle against dictatorship and misrule has only gotten stronger. She is one of the many unsung heroines and heroes of our struggle. Aluta continua!

Misplaced priorities?
@Parliament_Ug is slated to hold the first of four regional sittings next week as it looks to take it's business closer to the people, with a reported Shs20 billion outlay set to be guaranteed by reallocating its resources, but critics have questioned if it's in order to use funds in such a manner while hospitals struggle to keep the lights on.

Dear Police officer in the picture, is it true that you are one of the villains in uniform who recently tortured the young protestors in custody? If it’s true, you are still a young man, probably with many years ahead of you. Perhaps not today or tomorrow, but you will personally pay for your brutality some day. Some day! A day you can hardly imagine to exist now, as you are blinded by the fleeting present and the little powers you hold. It is easy for you to forget those you brutalise, but they hardly forget.
In this video, police officers give a protesting foreign national VIP treatment but in the same scene brutalise the 🇺🇬n colleagues he's protesting with. The Belgian is given the co-driver's seat in the police car, while his Ugandan colleagues are pushed under the officers' feet!
Watch, in this NTV story, the harrowing tale of comrade Mayega Ronnie (Munyarwanda wa Bobi) who was recently abducted and raped by gunmen. It's a really sad thing what our country has come to — even sadder if we won't act before it's too late! #BringBackOurPeople
This is Uganda's High Commissioner to Canada Joy Ruth Acheng openly engaging in partisan politics against people she's required to serve without discrimination. Asked about the abduction, torture and subsequent trial of comrade Achileo Kivumbi in the Court Martial, Acheng instead claims opposition supporters like Achileo "abduct themselves for asylum!" For as long as appointments of public servants like Acheng are based on sycophancy instead of merit, we shall continue seeing more of this madness!
