Masks can easily cause a 50% reduction in COVID transmission. But that's only from the peer-reviewed literature. I don't know what YouTube and Facebook (which are not peer-reviewed) are telling you.
@SueYeap I gave up trying to reason with people with conspiracy theories about COVID ie big Pharma/Govts trying to drug them or control/track their movements.
Reason is much less sexy: trying to save lives
@G_Parker Not trying to be pessimist but 90% vax coverage in WA will be incredibly difficult. Other States have high rates ONLY because they’ve suffered extended lockdowns & death which spurred vax-hesitant. Ironically we need to feel the pandemic to ultimately beat it.
No where near enough. The situation in NSW should have alarm bells ringing here…for the first time, ICUs struggling. That was always the fear. @WAHealth
