@jokers_tailor@ted_pen I think the purpose was so they could imply in the trailer that the two living Beatles might show up in the film. I remember them teasing James Corden or whoever saying “there’s two people here who want to talk to you!”
@klep0th @NotJamesMR@wanderinsouI It said that Gen Z are more conservative than millennials, which these election results just do not show. That’s just a different claim than saying that young people, along with most other key demographics, are voting more conservatively than they did in 2008.
@NotJamesMR@wanderinsouI Yes I’m aware of both of these things. But I’m not convinced that the takeaway from this election is that Gen Z is uniquely conservative - the results show that MANY different demographics (across age/gender/race/location) are trending rightward, which is more troubling.
@jasebyjason Samantha/Miranda is my favourite friendship pairing on the show, I love it every time they have a giggle together. They’re really very ideologically aligned except Samantha is open to life and new experiences in a way which Miranda’s defensiveness doesn’t allow her to be.
@madisontayt_ you right!!! but this was a situation of both of their pride ruining their relationship bc he was too proud to let a woman buy him a suit and she was too insecure about taking a bartender in a cheap suit to meet all her lawyer friends!
@aletheia327 I felt like I was going insane reading the replies under that tweet. How are you an adult in the world who genuinely believes that all women in white collar jobs work in HR or something and every other role is taken by men. Women occupy like 40% of managerial office jobs lol
@PopBase You guys are forgetting this girl was put on a reality show at the age of 8 and opened up to a world of criticism about her looks. She didn’t “choose” this life in the same way Kris and her older sisters did. Of course she has a complex.
@oliverquicks Anyone who has remotely been following Amanda Bynes in the past 5 or so years knows that she is extremely sensitive about her appearance. That tweet is so nasty.
@aramnotagoat I actually think this actress seems good - the physical resemblance isn’t strong, but acting ability is much more important IMO. The issue with the film is that it’s deeply exploitative and probs yet another PR move by her father to absolve him of responsibility for her death.
