@jimmy_enm I feel like I would be more interested in online gaming if I could win money too! That way, the addiction is not just focused on the online gaming but it translate to your actual life if you're making an income from your virtual life #RUDCIM_SP20

An example of an internet addiction is online gaming. This becomes addicting for people because it allows them to feel as if they have a life in an alternate world to be a part of, especially if there are rankings or goals to achieve in this virtual world #RUDCIM_SP20

@mj5941 @FionaMcLoughli9 It is upsetting and unnecessary when people troll celebrities, I tweeted about this as well and showed a picture of the "women tell all" episode of the bachelor that addressed trolling. It was difficult to see how it affects these real people mentally #RUDCIM_SP20

@elizabethmfish Cyberbullying is a very upsetting reality that is a common form of harassment especially in younger ages or among celebrities. Cyber bullying gives bullies a hidden front so they can act ways they may not present themselves face to face #RUDCIM_SP20

@rojas_raissa Hi Raissa! Impersonation is a scary form of online harassment especially if you notice someone is trying to impersonate you. This reminds me of the show Catfish where impersonation is usually the harassers main threat #RUDCIM_SP20

Trolling is a form of online harassment, almost all of the readings mentioned humiliating commenters or threatening notes online which can be considered trolling. This often happens with celebrities by people who do not know them. #RUDCIM_SP20

Sanchez discusses how his specific virtual game “players ...sustained the social systems outside of game play”(Sanchez 2009), which kind of reminds me of WebKinz from when I was younger. There was the online format then real life stuffed animals kids played with. #RUDCIM_SP20
